Fast rising Nigerian recording artiste Jeff Akoh has just come through, in spectacular fashion with the visuals for his recent single “Halima” featuring sensational Kenyan Hip-hop artiste and rapper, Khaligraph Jones.
The undeniably gifted 21 year old singer and songwriter attained prominence after he emerged winner of the keenly contested eighth season of MTN Project Fame West Africa at 18, making him the youngest winner of the music talent TV reality show till date.
Jeff, who has been interested in music making since childhood, contested at 13 together with his brother, Fred Akoh, as a duo on Glo Naija Sings where the pair made it to the Top 10.
It was subsequent to this that Jeff went to SAE Institute, Cape Town where he graduated as a Sound Engineer before winning Project Fame.
Jeff clearly has his sights on making a significant mark on the Nigerian music scene. Just last year, he released his debut album, “Lokoja”, and has already commissioned music videos for “Skip” and “Shokolokobangoshe”, two of the tracks on the album.
Keeping the fire burning, the promising Temple Music artiste has just released the Enos Olik directed visuals for “Halima”, one of the standout tracks on the 16 track body of work, and we just must say how impressed we are.
