SOUTH AFRICA Patty Monroe – Fighter ft. Amanda Palmer

South African female rapper just recently released a compelling new song dubbed “Fighter” on which she features American singer Amanda Palmer to celebrate International Women’s Day.

Popular for songs such as “Reminiscing”, “For You” and “High Fashion”, is easily one of the fast rising, most gifted female rappers on the South African scene.

Formerly one half of the duo Evelyn Evelyn, 41 year old Amanda Palmer is the lead vocalist, pianist, and lyricist of the duo The Dresden Doll. She however also performs frequently as a solo artiste.

Both women come together on “Fighter” to create one of the most compelling and emotional compositions we’ve heard in a while to celebrate all the strong women of the world.

Patty’s ardent fans would recall that the song “Fighter” was originally listed on the rapper’s debut album “Malatjie” which was released in January.

There’s definitely a lot more to expect from as the year progresses, and we honestly can’t wait to watch it all unfold.
