South African female rapper Patty Monroe just recently released a compelling new song dubbed “Fighter” on which she features American singer Amanda Palmer to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Formerly one half of the duo Evelyn Evelyn, 41 year old Amanda Palmer is the lead vocalist, pianist, and lyricist of the duo The Dresden Doll. She however also performs frequently as a solo artiste.
Both women come together on “Fighter” to create one of the most compelling and emotional compositions we’ve heard in a while to celebrate all the strong women of the world.
Patty’s ardent fans would recall that the song “Fighter” was originally listed on the rapper’s debut album “Malatjie” which was released in January.
There’s definitely a lot more to expect from Patty Monroe as the year progresses, and we honestly can’t wait to watch it all unfold.
Go right ahead and listen to the heartfelt collaboration by simply streaming or downloading “Fighter” right here, right now. Got thoughts about the joint? Feel free to air them in the comments section below.
