Gifted Ghanaian Hiplife rapper Guru has just come through yet again for his throng of ardent fans with a brand new firecracker titled “Golden Stool” on which the artiste enlists VRGM head honcho, Eden and BBnZ Live act, Shaker.
Guru, whose real name is Maradona Yeboah Adjei, is particularly famous for his contemporary Hiplife rap style that seamlessly fuses English and indigenous languages from Ghana, easily making him one of the country’s favourite artistes.
The NKZ Music frontliner first rose to fame way back in 2012 when his hit song “Lapaz Toyota” took the Ghanaian music scene by surprise and made prominent appearances on many of the country’s music charts.
With several hit singles and award nominations to his credit, Guru’s well deserved success has enabled him extend his fanbase well beyond expected territories, making him one of the very few Ghanaian artistes whose music has charted in francophone countries.
