LadiPoe – Double Money
Uber-talented Nigerian rapper and lyricist LadiPoe has just dropped a banging new track titled “Double Money”, his own cover of G-Eazy’s trending hit “No Limit”.
The artiste whose full name is Ladipo Eso rose to prominence as an affiliate of the rap duo Show Dem Camp, and subsequently forged his own solo path with songs such as “Ko Ye Won” and “Gbe Sile”.
It was his hit single “Adore Her” which earned Poe significant attention, culminating in his getting signed to Don Jazzy’s Mavin Records around this time last year alongside Johnny Drille and DNA.
Poe is particularly acclaimed for his technical skill as a rapper for which the artiste has been compared to the likes of J. Cole and Drake by many.
His latest release, “Double Money” is sequel to the viral success of “Are You Down” which features labelmate Tiwa Savage.
As expected the song is characterized by Poe’s lyrical depth and delivery and, of course, witty punchlines which Poe has trademarked as “lifelines”.
Listening to Poe do justice to the dope beat as he drops bar after insane bar of pure rap genius is something we honestly cannot get over on this jam, and we’re pretty sure you’ll be able to relate.
