Rwanda’s leading female music duo Charly na Nina are back with a bang. Kicking off their 2018 campaign in spectacular fashion, the divas have just dished out the accompanying music video to their latest release, ‘Try Me’, and they aren’t playing at all.
Chary na Nina are one of the fastest growing music acts, not just in Rwanda, but across East Africa. The ladies made history just last year as the first ever Rwandese artistes to take home the Prestigious HiPipo Music Award when their collaborative song with Big Fizzo, ‘Indoro’ won the “Song of the Year Rwanda” award!
Hot on the heels of their 2017 hit song, ‘Zahabu’ – which is still prominent on Rwandan airwaves and beyond – the Kigali based female Rwandese music duo are back with scintillating visuals to their latest single, ‘Try Me’ which was produced by the talented Pastor P.
The music video was directed by the prolific Ugandan director, Sasha Vybz, who manages to tell a story about maltreatment, infidelity and ultimate serendipity in 4 minutes and 11 seconds. Of course, Charly na Nina shine as always.
