Prolific producer, D’Tunes is holding no chill as he commissions yet another screaming tune. Titled “Titilailai,” he scores the heavyweight collaboration of YBNL Nation Prime Minister, Olamide Baddo.
D’Tunes might be the genius of the beats, but he has also been unforgiving with his releases of late. In fact, his efforts such as “Be Mine,” which featured Iyanya and Sean Tizzle, as well as the 2017 beastly effort, “Ogogoro,” alongside Wale Turner and Yonda readily come to mind.
Then, he dropped the monster record in December titled “Pablo,” which featured Mr Eazi and CDQ. That effort continues to buzz across many request functions of several radio and TV stations.
This time, he’s gone for the broke with “Titilailai” and the reason is not far-fetched. Olamide remains one of the country’s most consistent performers and the past year, 2017, was no different.
Asides from dropping the massively urban grind, “Wo!“ which started an entire movement, Olamide also commissioned his “Lagos Nawa” album to critical acclaim. He already kicked off the new year, 2018 in fine fashion with “Science Student“ as well.
Their combination simply brought the magic to bare on a love-inspired vibe with glimpses of Ibile cupid feelings to bare as renditions flow freely in English and the culturally rich Yoruba language.
