Ace producer, D’Tunes takes a break from the background as he hugs the limelight with a smoking new tune that he titles “Pablo.” On this one, he scores the heavyweight feature of Banku Music sensation, Mr Eazi, as well as Ibile Colonel, CDQ.
Even though D’Tunes has been the brain behind some of Nigeria’s finest hit songs, he has also been the curator of some bangers himself including “Be Mine,” which featured Iyanya and Sean Tizzle, as well as the 2017 beastly effort, “Ogogoro,” alongside Wale Turner and Yonda.
However, “Pablo” is of a different mould with the energetic burst of deliveries as fashioned out by Mr Eazi and CDQ. Well, production wouldn’t be a problem on a D’Tunes outing so this latest scorcher already comes with the roll of banging beats and dope instrumentals.
Mr Eazi whose real name is Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade is still trying to appeal to the goodwill of fans after a few missteps. After “Pour Me Water,” he looks likely to return to the good books with his solid structure and laid-back delivery that will get the most introverted amongst us drilling it out on the dance floors.
Whichever way, his Next Rated Award at the Headies was no fluke having commissioned such efforts as “Dance For Me,” “Anointing,” ” Hollup,” “Sample You,” “Bankulize,” as well as an international remix of his flagship song, “Leg Over,” which featured French Montana and Major Lazer.
CDQ whose real name is Sodiq Abubakar Yusuf brings the Ibile twist to “Pablo” that will make it a potential anthem for the streets. In fact, he has been so busy on the circuit lately with the recent release of “Werey Yo,” as well as other drops such as “Bye Bye Poverty,” “Kosere,“ and “Woss,“ just to mention a few.
In the end, “Pablo” isn’t going to change the world. Rather, it will only inspire the sick and slick dance moves across social circles and gigs that D’Tunes can be totally proud of its commission.
