Seyi Shay – Electric Package EP

Nigerian pop diva, Seyi Shay has finally released her much anticipated album “Electric Package” which is a follow up to her 2016 widely acclaimed “Seyi or Shay” album.

Prior to the release, the sweet-sing Nigerian vocalist hosted friends, industry colleagues, family, and the media to a listening session for the “Electric Package”. Attendees were introduced to each song by the singer, and she talked about the recording process, shared her inspiration behind the EP and got reviews.

The EP is a 6-track package featuring notable Nigerian and South African artistes like Kiss Daniel, DJ Cuppy, DJ Neptune, DJ Spinall, Flavour, DJ Tira, Anatii, among others.

The project is beefed up with support from artists like Ghanaian King Promise who features on the song, “All I Ever Wanted”, a song that is reminiscent of Onyeka Onwenu’s classic “You and I”, which Seyi confirms that she got approval from the Nigerian legend and Tanzanian songstress Vanessa Mdee alongside Nigeria’s DJ Cuppy on “Love You Scatter”.

High-life king, Flavour N’abania and DJ Consequence feature in the lead single “Alele”, and Kiss Daniel and DJ Neptune team up together in “Surrender”.

From the first song, “One Love ft. DJ Spinall” to the last song on the EP, “D Vibe”, featuring fast-rising artiste, Slimcase and a south African deejay, Seyi Shay further cements herself as an artiste who knows her strengths and isn’t afraid to take a giant leap.
