Hinlaw Records anchorman, Wale Wonda is back with his sophomore offering and he titles this one “Send Down Fire.” On this one, he scores the heavyweight feature of “Igbeyawo” crooner, Oritse Femi.
Once Wale Wonda dropped his debut offering which he titled “Shayo,” many fans, pundits and critics had pencilled him down for great things on the circuit.
Well, he doesn’t look to be disappointing on that front as he unveils this groovy and dance-ready tune that’s both a song of appreciation as well as one of supplication for more of life’s finer things.
On “Send Down Fire,” Wale Wonda masterminded a tune you’d readily mistaken for a Church praise and worship song. However, the massive, solid and sturdy ladders of support which Oritse Femi brought to bare on a stunning verse adds even more of an exciting twist and angle.
Having lunched his “L.I.F.E“ album to critical acclaim with several high-flying records, Oritse Femi has also been one of the most sough-after acts in the industry with several collaborations to match.
The song was produced by the prolific DJ Coublon, mixed and mastered by Swaps, with Guitar by Fiokee – such a dream team of musical and sound engineering by all accounts.
This is why Wale Wonda can now be confident of a potential smash hit in “Send Down Fire” as its melodious piece is one that has gotten us to lock down the replay button as we ruin our dance shoes to the groove.
