Nigerian Afro-pop singer, Humblesmith finally releases his long-awaited debut album dubbed “Osinachi”, aptly named after his smash hit single with Pentauze Dragon, Phyno three years ago.
After bursting into the limelight with that single, Osinachi whose real name is Ekenedilichukwu Ijemba swiftly followed it with a banging remix the following year, and called on the feature of DMW boss, Davido. And just like the original release, the remix also took the industry by storm, and rocked the airwaves for months on end.
Paying tribute to the record that brought him to the mainstream’s attention, the Nytze Entertainment act comes through with his highly anticipated 22-track project which features several heavyweights in the industry, such as Davido, Mavin Dynasty Queen Tiwa Savage, YBNL general Olamide, Mr Flavour, Phyno, Rudeboy of the defunct group P-Square and Harrysong.
With some previously released singles also featured on this body of work, such as “Abakaliki 2 Lasgidi”, “Osinachi Reloaded”, “Attracta” and “Jukwese” amongst others, the “Boogati” crooner brings some fresh tracks to life.
Acclaimed photographer and singer, TY Bello shot the photograph for the album cover, adding colour to the already spectacular collection.
The track, Osinachi, which is an Igbo word that translates to “Comes from God” has earned Humblesmith several nominations and we can only expect more from this album.
