Flavour – Ijele the Traveler

Being a high life artist, Flavour has achieved some really crazy milestones in his career and his decision to join the Afro music genre is among these milestones. The highly rated artist is arguably Africa’s most felt high life artist, having released four high life studio albums. His four albums have received a good reception both locally and internationally.

“Ijele the Traveler” is the fifth album in his Igbo High Life series. The album combines a mixture of songs, both gospel and love songs. Among the key appearances in this album are Chidinma, Terry Akpala, Phyno, Sarkodie and Semah G Weifur.

The most trending songs in the album are Most High ft. Semah G Weifur, Sake of love ft. Sarkodie and Iheneme ft. Chidinma. ‘Most High’ in particular has dominated the chart on most African channels. Maybe it’s because the song has a smooth flow and Flavour does very well backing the young and vibrant Semah. If you love inspiring music, then this song is a must listen.

Flavour joins the list of Nigeria’s best high life musicians such as Oliver De coque and Steve Osita. Of the 17 songs in the album, “Baby Na Yoka” seems to be the real deal for most of his fans. The song is a perfect blend of high life and Regeaton Beats, combining a touch of African instruments, just to make things seem ‘all Nigerian’. A lot of positivity is pumped into this specific album, we are sure you will love it.
